The HOPE Foundation supports the principles of volunteerism and philanthropy shown by the Fellows and Members of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow since its formation in 1599.
The HOPE Foundation enables the collective power of our community to make a real difference to health related projects locally, nationally and internationally. We fulfil our purpose through fundraising, grant-making and disseminating learning from our funded projects to our membership.
Each donation to HOPE Foundation goes to charitable projects that help disadvantaged people gain access to quality healthcare.
Donating through Gift Aid means that your donation can be worth 25% more at no extra cost to you. By choosing to donate through Gift Aid, you confirm that you are a UK taxpayer and understand that if you pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on your donations to all Charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASCs) in that tax year it is your responsibility to pay any difference. You will also notify the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow if you wish to cancel this declaration; if you change your name or address; or if you no longer pay sufficient Tax on your income/capital gains to qualify for Gift Aid.
We know that small changes and shared learning can make a huge difference in the provision of healthcare, especially when enacted with compassion. At the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow we have witnessed this worldwide. The HOPE Foundation enables the College and its members to act upon this knowledge by providing philanthropic support to charitable health initiatives.
We want to celebrate the difference each funded project can make to the lives of so many people living in challenging circumstances. In exemplifying the impact of these projects, we can learn, share knowledge and inspire others to support our work.
Philanthropic projects often lead the way in solving problems and encouraging innovation - donate now to make a positive difference.
