Mr Mike McKirdy, Chair of the HOPE Foundation and Director of Global Health at the College Is leading the charge for the HOPE Foundation at the Kiltwalk in Glasgow on Sunday 26 April 2020.

Together with colleagues and College staff they will be raising funds for the HOPE Foundation, the charitable fund of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Mike and a small group of Fellows from our Faculty of Dental Surgery, including Professor Jeremy Bagg and Professor Richard Welbury, successfully completed the 2019 Kiltwalk and raised over £8,000 which included the additional 40% donated from Sir Tom Hunter – amazing!

The team are looking forward to joining the thousands of other Kiltwalk heroes for another unforgettable day in support of the HOPE Foundation which aims to make a positive difference to the health of people living in challenging circumstances where access to quality healthcare is, for whatever reason, limited.
